Event Description

Parkinson SuperWalk is the largest fundraising event for Parkinson’s Canada. It’s a special day to provide our community with the chance to unite and celebrate their hard work raising funds and awareness for Parkinson's disease.
Last year, over 14,000 participants in over 115 cities and communities across the country organized and participated in Parkinson SuperWalk events, raising $2.9 million - all working together to make life better for people living with Parkinson’s and their families.
Parkinson Society Eastern Ontario is seeking volunteers, sponsors and participants for September 12 and 13, in all five SuperWalk locations in Eastern Ontario (Ottawa, Renfrew, Embrun, Brockville, Cornwall).
The event runs from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, is family friendly and accessible. Volunteers are needed in various areas including registration tables, water stations, entertainment and set-up and clean-up crews. Please contact Shauna Quinn at squinn@toh.on.ca or call 613-722-9238.
